Children often experiment with art in their early development as a means of expressing themselves and interpreting the world around them. A lot of these early artistic expressions and experimentation can leave an imprint on artists in their adult careers.
 
I Used to Believe… is composed of a group of emerging artists recalling the ideas, imagery, and artistic techniques of adolescence.

Using a variety of media and subject matter and both figuration and abstraction, these artists approach the realm of childhood nostalgia through varying perspectives.
